Hi my name is Christine Moran Maguire . I am setting up this fundraiser for my niece Sara and her son Kyle Baker. Sara is a Mam of 5 and her son Kyle who is 14 years old is a full time wheelchair user, Kyle has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) a terminal diagnosis. Sara’s world was turned upside down almost 8 years ago when she received Kyle’s diagnosis but the family have been so blessed 3 years ago to have found Powersoccer (wheelchair football) this has given Kyle the mental strength to keep fighting this horrible illness and his love for soccer has helped with his determination to wanna be the best at playing powersoccer he said that this has given him a purpose and a reason to want to live. Kyle has been lucky enough to be selected to travel to the Netherlands for a powersoccer camp next week I am looking at any financial help possible to help make this dream a reality for kyle and Sara and to help ease the financial burden this may have on Sara could you please help us get Kyle there as Kyle‘s illness has progressed. Kyle’s body has shown such deterioration. Kyle is a full-time wheelchair user and fully dependent on Sara’s care He is also unable to swallow certain foods and this has been very stressful and upsetting for him he can also no longer lift up his arms and his strength has weakened in his arms. Kyle getting into this soccer camp would mean the absolute world to him. Please let’s try and hit this target and make Kyle’s dream come true and let’s give him memories to cherish forever
