Hello My name is Katie Mosakowski , I am doing this for my husband and kids. I don’t like reaching out for help but this is something that we could honestly use and have help with. Some of you may know and some may not but Kyle has a fatal disease called Huntingtons Disease . This is an inherited disease which the nerves in your brain slowly die over time. As years go on he’s been progressing . Kyle can not work , now he is at the point he’s using a cane. There are days he does really well and others that he’s in so much pain he can’t walk. His brain is forgetting to tell his body what to do. When we go places he can only go places that have motorized chairs to help him. We realized how many places don’t have that and he can’t walk very long. This leads Kyle not able to go a lot of places with me and the boys. I wanted to get him a motorized scooter of our own to take places so we don’t have to worry about if this place has one or not. We started looking them up and well they aren’t that cheap (obviously). With myself being the only one working and us have three growing boys. This is a big expense for our house. I hate asking for help but I would love for Kyle to enjoy time with the boys and I even means sporting events, the mall , zoo etc. I’m not expecting the full amount to happen but any little bit helps us out. The motorized scooter he’s looking at cost 1,300 . Like I said any little amount helps .
