Help Kyle and Emily

Hello, my name is Brandon Young and I’m starting this go fund me for Kyle and Emily Westfall. I want to tell you a little about them first.

Me and Kyle first met in 2012 while serving together in the Marine Corps. In January 2013, somehow me and Kyle were seated beside each other on our flight to Japan (our first deployment). After that 16 hour flight, me and Kyle both knew we had just become best friends. And since that day, we were inseparable. If you saw one of us, you saw both of us. I met his wife, Emily after that deployment. I was single at the time and they would have me over for supper all the time just because they knew I loved a good home cooked meal. Over the next few years me and Kyle only became better friends, going on another deployment together, going to visit each other’s home towns, watching his first little girl, Remi, grow up and start running around the house. Throughout those 4 years, Kyle has seen me at my lowest of lows and my highest of highs. He’s stood right by me through it all. He is one of those people that will stand by his friends and family through anything and he will literally give the shirt off his back to help you. After Kyle honorably served his country in the Marine Corps, they moved back to West Virginia and got to be closer to family. Me and Kyle never became distant friends. We have always stayed close even being almost 1,000 miles apart. We call each other Atleast once a month just to talk, cry or laugh. He was one of my groomsman in my wedding in 2019 and will be my brother for the rest of my life.

Now, a little bit about what is going on with Kyle and Emily,

Denali is the fourth child to Kyle and Emily Westfall. At the 16 week appointment for the gender identity the doctor noticed problems with the baby. They were referred to a university and found out the child has CDH (congenital diaphragmatic hernia). Her stomach and intestines are in the left side of her chest and her heart is pushed to the right side. They will be traveling to John Hopkins hospital in St. Petersburg FL for prenatal care and testing, delivery, and surgeries and specialty newborn care. They are preparing to be there for a minimum of 5 months but it could be up to 8 months. I’m hoping to raise enough to help them with food and housing while they are there. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. I can tell you from the bottom of my heart, this is one of the best families I have ever met. Thank you.
