Hi Friends and Family!

As you know, I have a dream of becoming a doctor! Well, I'm excited to share that I have been selected to attend the National Student Leadership Conference (NSLC) on Medicine and Health Care. This prestigious program selects outstanding high school students from around the world to participate based on academic excellence, extracurricular involvement and demonstrated leadership potential. It is an honor to attend the NSLC, and I am extremely excited about this opportunity.

While at the NSLC, I will perform clinical rounds, learn medical examination and surgical techniques, and participate in diagnosis and treatment while solving the mystery of a fatal outbreak sweeping the nation.  I  will deal with controversial medical issues, learn about today’s health care challenges and explore advanced scientific research in areas such as cancer and HIV/AIDS.

Program tuition is $3,400 and includes housing, all on-campus meals, course materials, academic expenses, and activities. Tuition also includes transportation for off-campus briefings and tours. My desire to help others and my strength in both math and science are reasons I believe that the NSLC Medicine & Health Care program at American University is a great opportunity for me to gain exposure to various aspects of the medical and healthcare field.

While this Summer I will launch my business teaching young children how to swim, I have to cover my NSLC tuition before June 1, 2021. Your support will offset the tuition and expenses to attend the program.
