Help KyKy get his hearing back!

Hey friends and fam! My name is Morgan and I’m the mama of Kyree James. When he was 14 months he fell and fractured his skull. This left him 100% deaf in his right ear and spatial hearing in his left. Because of this, his speech is very broken and hard to understand. We have a super long, hard road ahead of us but we are so excited and extremely blessed to finally be a candidate for the cochlear implant. Ky’s surgery is April 19. (In 10 days ) A lot goes into getting a cochlear implant and it’s very expensive. His doctor is an hour and 15 minutes away and I will be driving him there every 2 weeks for the first 4 months to gradually turn up the frequency . I’ll have to take time off of work in order to get him there. He will also be seeing 2 different therapist, one is the cochlear therapist, located in Atlanta and the other is speech therapy, located in Gwinnett County. His insurance covers a lot of it but it does not cover his cochlear therapy. Ky has already been through so much and he is the strongest, little boy I know! His smile is contagious and he knows how to make an entire room crack up. Most importantly, I thank God every single day for my sweet boy and I’m so blessed that He chose me to be his mommy. I know God’s got him, always!
