UPDATE - 5th Jan 2026. Hi all, Kye's mum here... super excited to say that Kye has reached his fundraising goal! Between his gofundme, work, can and bottle recycling, busking, a couple events, and a few other things, he has raised enough funds to cover the cost of his flights and his tour to the Junior Theatre Festival in the US. Hi! I'm Kye, and I’m 16 years old from Australia.

I’ve been passionate about musical theatre for as long as I can remember, and now I’ve been given the incredible honour of representing Australia at the Junior Theatre Festival (JTF) in Atlanta, USA in January 2026!

This opportunity means everything to me — I’ve worked so hard through singing lessons, drama classes, and theatre productions to get here. Being selected for the JTF International All-Stars Team is a dream come true.

But… travelling to the U.S. isn’t cheap. With flights, accommodation, tuition, and other costs, it adds up fast. That’s why I’m asking for your help.
