With heavy hearts, we share the devastating news of the passing of our beloved Kuya Raymond Lagria, who tragically left us on September 06, 2025, after a long and difficult medical journey. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a hardworking provider, and a man who brought light and laughter into the lives of everyone who knew him.
A Sudden Tragedy
In April 2025, Kuya Raymond was involved in a serious accident that left him with a severe traumatic brain injury. The injury was so critical that he fell into a coma and had to be placed on permanent ventilation to support his breathing.
Weeks passed in uncertainty, but Kuya Raymond fought bravely. He began showing signs of improvement—opening his eyes, following commands, and even blessing his loved ones with his smile once again. For a moment, we allowed ourselves to hope.
He was eventually moved to a long-term care facility for ongoing support. His strength inspired us all, and his family's unwavering devotion gave us reason to believe that recovery was still possible.
Despite every effort, Kuya developed complications that his body could no longer fight off. His final weeks were filled with more pain than peace, and on September 06, 2025, he passed away surrounded by loved ones, leaving behind his wife and children, who were his entire world.
Kuya Raymond moved to Arizona with his wife and children in pursuit of a better life. He was the heart of his family—always putting others first, working multiple jobs to support them, and never complaining. He was known for his kindness, humour, and unshakable spirit. He was a devoted Husband, father, son, brother, friend, and co-worker. He was a source of laughter in every space he was in, and his absence definitely leaves a painful void in the hearts of all who knew him.
We are now humbly reaching out to our families and friends to ask for your help in raising funds to:
▪️Support his wife and children during this incredibly difficult time.
▪️Cover funeral and memorial expenses when Kuya Raymund will be brought and laid to rest in the Philippines
No amount is too small, and every donation will go directly to his family. If you're unable to give financially, please consider sharing this fundraiser with others who may be able to help.
Let us honour Kuya Raymond’s life by helping ease the burden for those he loved the most.
