When Kutler was just 8 years old, he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare and aggressive bone cancer. Four days after his ninth birthday, he faced the unimaginable challenge of having his leg amputated. Despite everything, Kutler has shown incredible strength and resilience, inspiring our entire family every single day.
Now, at 18, Kutler is setting his sights on a new dream: competing in the para Olympics. This journey requires not only determination and hard work, but also significant financial support. The costs of travel, specialized equipment, and training add up quickly, and we simply can’t cover them on our own. This summer, Kutler will be competing in a track and field competition in Arizona at the end of May, the Angel City Games in LA in June, and Nationals in New York in July. Your support will help make these opportunities possible.
Kutler is an incredibly positive and driven young man, and he continues to be a shining example of perseverance for his siblings and everyone who knows him. Not only does Kutler throw shot put and discus, but he also competes in the long jump. He plays football for his high school, enjoys basketball and volleyball with his cousins, and is an avid pickleball player. Recently, he even learned to snowboard. Kutler has a drive to try all things active and has never let his leg keep him from playing. We would be deeply grateful for any support—whether it’s a donation or simply sharing his story—to help Kutler pursue his dream of representing and inspiring others on the para Olympic stage.
