RIP Kusanagi - FIP won the battle

UPDATE: sadly kusanagi lost his battle to FIP 1/10/24 at around 11:11 pm. we did everything we possibly could to save him, but the disease took over his entire little body. the bills are sky high. thank you to everyone who has contributed so far

Hi there. 2025 has not been a great start so far for my kitty Kusanagi and me. At 8 months old, he was diagnosed with a very rare virus known as FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). This disease is fatal, and his health has been declining quickly. He is currently under care at Blue Pearl Animal Hospital and just received his first dose of medication, which I had to jump through MANY hoops to get, given how rare this disease is. The medical bills are adding up fast and are already at $7,500 before treatment.

Anything helps, and I will be tremendously grateful. Please help me save my baby boy Kusanagi.
