On Tuesday, September 30, Kurt Harris, 23-year-old father of three, was riding his motorcycle when a woman pulled out in front of him. He went through her windshield. Kurt had a seizure and went into cardiac arrest on the scene, having to be brought back to life. He was life-flighted to Conemaugh Hospital where they had to work extensively to fix his scalp and to stabilize him. Kurt has severe skin lacerations that will take a long time to heal, a fracture to his jaw, fracture to his C-5 in his neck, a small brain bleed, a mass on his lung, and an increased heart beat. He will be out of work for 6-12 months, which leaves his family without necessary funds to be able to pay their bills. We are in need of donations to get us through this very difficult time. Kurt has a fiance, LaKeysha, who is currently studying to be a nurse and three children- Javonni, age 1, MaKaden, age 2.5, and James (who has special needs), age 5.
