Almost anyone who has known Kurt Krause in the last decade or so, could be able to tell you that Kurt has two passions; Acting and Restaurants.

 

For those of you who don't know me... Hi! My name is Melanie Gabel, and I'm Kurt Krause's fiancé. Kurt and I have been dreaming of opening a restaurant together for the last couple years. We began saving during the beginning of the pandemic, and are getting pretty close to our goal of having enough money to approach a bank about a loan. We're close, but we'd like to have just a hair more before we start worrying about paying back a bank.

 

So here's where I'm hoping for a little help...

 

Kurt's birthday is coming up at the end of November. I'd love to be able to give him two gifts:

 

1) The last sum of money he'd like us to have saved before putting our business plan for a restaurant into action. If you can even just give a dollar, every little bit helps. If the last bit of money we need could come from all the people he has supported in the all the restaurants he's worked in, I think that would be the last little confidence boost he needs to finally open something of his own.

 

2) When you donate, I'd love for you to leave a note for Kurt, or a short story about Kurt. If you don't feel comfortable sharing on this page, or just want to share without donating, you can also send notes and stories to KurtKrauseBDaySurprise at Gmail. I'm hoping to compile what everyone shares into a book for him to read on his birthday.
