Help Kurt and Rhonda with medical bills
My dear friend’s family is in need of our help! In May 2021, Kurt Geiwitz spent seven (7) days in the hospital after a frightful diabetic episode that left him with a staph infection and caused hemorrhaging in his eyes, deeming him legally blind. Fortunately, he qualified for a clinical trial, saving $60,000, for a new drug and just started receiving injections in both eyes to hopefully restore his vision. OUCH! Kurt's family is very grateful to the hospital for its significant discounting for self-pay, but at last check, this hospital stay plus dr, specialists, tests, and lab bills are still rolling in and now close to $20,000.
While recovering from this, he fell victim to a road rage incident on his way to work just two (2) weeks later! Unfortunately, there were no witnesses that could provide offending vehicle identification though four (4) wonderful souls moved him out of the middle of the busy, construction-laden Hwy 281. His auto insurance is helping through this – with limitations, of course.
Kurt and Rhonda have no medical or disability insurance to help them through this tough time. I implore you to donate what you can so we can help with medical bills, groceries, utilities, physical therapy, and at least three (3) months of lost wages not to mention the unknown on his long term effects. In lieu of monetary donations there are some personal and household tasks that could use our help.
