Help Kuol Hear and Speak
Donation protected
Kuol lost his hearing shortly after birth but his doctors say he is a good candidate for a Cochlear Implant. This surgery would give him not only the gift of hearing but would then allow him to learn to speak.
Kuol and his family are refugees from South Sudan living in Cairo, Egypt where my family and I lived for more than 9 years and learned of his plight. My wife is an educator who helps oversee a school for refugee children and sees firsthand the suffering of the many refugees who have been displaced by war and struggle to earn enough for their basic necessities each month.
Your contribution toward his surgery and associated costs will open the world of communication to this young child and allow him to catch up developmentally with his peers and prepare for school. We will personally ensure Kuol's surgery costs are paid directly to the hospital with receipts for transparency. Thank you for helping transform the life of this young child.
