Hello, my name is Courtney, and I am raising £5,200 to purchase and deliver eight new laptops to Kunning Gambia.

Kunning Gambia is a community-led organisation in Gunjur, The Gambia, supporting women and girls through education, practical skills, entrepreneurship, wellbeing and digital learning. I am organising this fundraiser with the agreement of its founder, Jalika Jatta.

Eight girls are ready to take part in digital training, but the organisation currently has no laptops. Our goal is to provide one laptop for each student to use during lessons.

The laptops will belong to Kunning Gambia and remain at the centre as shared training equipment. This means they can support the current group of eight students and continue helping future groups for years to come.

I plan to purchase eight new Lenovo V15 G4 laptops. Each laptop has 16GB of memory, a 512GB solid-state drive and Windows 11 Pro, providing reliable equipment for digital education and skills training.

The estimated costs are:

• Eight laptops: £4,799.76

• Delivery to the UK collection address: £9.99

• Estimated sea freight to The Gambia: £150

• Remaining funds: to help cover GoFundMe transaction fees, secure packaging and any small price or shipping changes

I will share updates about the purchase and delivery so donors can follow the laptops’ journey from the UK to Kunning Gambia. Any significant change to the costs or chosen laptop model will be explained through the fundraiser updates.

Every donation, no matter the amount, will help give these students access to the technology they need to build practical digital skills and new opportunities.

If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would also make a meaningful difference.

Thank you for supporting Kunning Gambia and helping us bring digital learning to these eight students.
