Kujo is my gentle giant—he’s been by my side since the day he was born, and for the past nine years, he’s been my loyal companion through thick and thin. Recently, life has thrown more than a few challenges my way, including supporting a close loved one through open heart surgery. The emotional toll and time spent in and out of the hospital meant time away from work, which has left my finances incredibly strained. On top of that, I’ve been coping with the aftermath of a fatal car crash involving another loved one. Through all of this, I’ve done everything I can to care for Kujo, who means the world to me.
Recently, Kujo developed a growth on his abdomen that seemed to appear and grow overnight. I managed to get him to our local vet, who took one look and believed it might be a cancerous tumor. With the last of my funds, I was able to get him some antibiotics and medication, and for a moment, it seemed like things were improving as the growth began to shrink. But just as I started to feel hopeful, the growth suddenly burst open, leaving Kujo with a painful, open wound. He’s been in pain and I’m heartbroken seeing him like this, knowing he needs urgent care that I simply can’t afford right now.
I’ve been doing everything I can at home, but this is beyond what I can safely manage alone. Any help , donations, shares, or prayers —would mean the world to us. Thank you for supporting us during this unexpected emergency.
I’m reaching out to anyone who might find it in their heart to help Kujo get the wound cleaned and stitched by a professional. Your support would mean everything to us, helping prevent infection and giving Kujo the best chance at recovery. Thank you for reading our story and for any help you can offer.
