We hate to ask for help, but now we plead with you with broken hearts to help Kugmo with an expensive medical procedure he needs to fix a separated shoulder. We'll have to take him to a specialist in Arizona.

If you look at the photo below you can see his shoulder is completely separated.

My wife and I have always been independent and hard working so we can afford all the supplies and medical expenses we've accrued over the years for our animals, but I'm in sales and the last few years have been really bad due to our economy.

We've already accumulated around $3000 in medical expenses and have been to 5 different vets, had 6 sets of X-rays done and none even noticed his separated shoulder. I had to point it out to them after looking at all his X-rays. Now that we know what's wrong, none of the vets in town could help Kugmo. They all said he'll just have to live with it. To me, that's not an option. I want to see Kugmo run in the park again and be happy.

My last visit to Creature Comforts Animal Hospital on 7/9/24 was a little more productive. Dr. Hussey at least tried to splint Kugmo using the supplies I bought on Amazon. She did an x-ray with the splint on to see if it helped but it did not, and she's not a specialist so she didn't feel comfortable relocating the shoulder and said more than likely it will take surgery. So, she recommended a specialist in Arizona who is exceptional with bearded dragons.

I know these surgeries are expensive. When Mekoo had an egg break inside of her, they wanted to do an ovariohysterectomy and that was going to cost $5000. I have no idea what this is going to cost but anything will help because I'll have to put it on a credit card and right now we're really overextended.

I wouldn't give Kugmo up for anything. He's brought so much joy to me and my wife and in some ways helped save our marriage. I'm a grown man crying over a reptile, but I love him so much. I wish the people here knew the love my wife and I shared for Kugmo. He's really like our child, as crazy as that seems.
