Help KU Mock Trial Compete!

The University of Kansas Mock Trial Team had a very successful past year, qualifying to ORCs, being only a couple points away from Nationals, and rising over 60 spots in the American Mock Trial Association's overall rankings! However, with this success, we have also had unprecedented levels of growth, which is making it difficult to maintain our ability to be competitive. We have just wrapped up a very successful semester of competition, and are looking for your support in travelling to our post-season tournaments that will allow us to qualify to Nationals.

Although we are Student Senate funded, this budget only accounts for two teams, whereas we now have five teams. Additionally, our budget does not account for post-season tournaments such as Regionals and ORCs. Coupling this with rising costs of gas and travel, we only had the budget to send each team to one out-of-state tournament this year. This could greatly affect our competitive success if we are not able to provide new members with experience leading up to Regionals, ORCs, and Nationals. Therefore, we need to raise at least $10,000 to travel and compete, maintaining our program's success. While we are planning some fundraisers, to cover costs, we need your help to raise at least $6,000!

Your donation to the KU Mock Trial Team will help us pay for tournament registration fees, hotels, gas, and case materials for our upcoming post-season tournaments.

As we enter the post-season, your support means a lot to us! We are a growing team with almost all our members in their first or second year of mock trial. To provide our members with the best opportunities to learn without the stress of money, we would appreciate any donations!
