On March 29, tragedy struck when a fire destroyed Krystle's home while she and her five children were sleeping. In an instant, they lost all of their belongings, their sense of security, and the place they called home. Krystle, a devoted single mother and my coworker, is now facing the unimaginable challenge of rebuilding her family's life from scratch.

The days since the fire have been incredibly hard for Krystle and her children. They are currently without a permanent place to stay and are relying on the kindness of friends and the community for support. The children are trying to adjust to this sudden change, and Krystle is doing everything she can to keep their spirits up while searching for a new apartment and replacing the essentials they lost.

We are raising funds to help Krystle and her children with immediate needs like clothing, food, and temporary housing, as well as to begin the process of finding a new apartment and replacing essential furniture.
