Krystal Adams was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 head and neck cancer. She is mom to 9 wonderful children, several of whom attend Hallsville ISD schools. The youngest of the 9 is a set of triplets! Krystal will start both chemo and radiation soon! Thank you for your prayers and support!

A message from Krystal- "My situation with my health started back in march/April when i took one of my triplets to cooks hospital. when i was there i start to feel really bad and had to go to a urgent care. when i made it back to east Texas i contacted my ENT and he sent me in antibiotics. afterwards i continue to have pain in my left ear, left jaw, and throat i went to the ER multiple times and also seen my ENT as many times as i could get in between march/April until July 8 and was sent home saying i had an ear infection strep different diagnoses that the antibiotics never treated i was in consist pain. on july 8 i went to the ENT again and finally got him to listen. he`d done hearing test, checked for TMJ and ran other test for what he thought it could be. that was my last appointment and i ask him please will you check my throat i had once again went to the er days before and i still had no relief. he looked and saw an ulcer that was bleeding on my tonsil i was sent for all kind of scans including a PET scan and received a proper diagnoses after all the suffering the pain i was enduring during that time was unbearable and hard to deal with trying to work, be a parent to 10 child, go to school.

my ENT found out i have head/neck cancer and immediately referred me to the Texas oncology in Longview, Tx. since i was diagnosed on 8-6-24 i have been receiving radiation and chemo treatments. my cancer is curable and i hope to be able to move forward with my life after this battle"
