Hi! I’m Krysanne Martis, a 25-year-old Indian Catholic who, after a personal encounter with Jesus Christ, felt called to dedicate my life to building up the Church in India — especially through youth ministry, evangelization, and small group mentoring.
This year, I’ve been accepted into the MA Theology and Christian Ministry program at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio, one of the most respected Catholic institutions in the world. It’s a huge opportunity — not just for me, but for the lives I hope to impact in India through ministry, mentorship, and teaching.
Why I Need Your Help
The total cost of tuition, room, and board for this two-year program is around $40,000 USD or 40 lakh rupees.
I’m committed to paying what I can through personal savings and working part-time where possible, but I simply can’t meet the full cost alone. That’s why I’m turning to my extended Church family — people like you — who believe in the importance of formation, mission, and the renewal of faith in places that desperately need it.
What Your Support Will Do

- Cover tuition and living expenses while I study in the U.S.
- Help me focus fully on my classes and ministry prep, without financial stress
- Equip me to swiftly return to India after graduation and serve in youth leadership, evangelization, and pastoral care
I’m especially passionate about:
- Discipling young people and women
- Leading Bible studies, talks, and workshops
- Creating spaces for LGBT-identifying Catholics to grow in faith (as a Catholic who experiences same-sex attraction, this ministry in particular is very close to my heart)
- Engaging with non-believers and non-practicing Catholics through loving conversation and dialogue
