Help Krypto & Tasha Get the Medical Care They Urgently Need

Meet Krypto and Natasha—two sassy, loving pups who mean the world to their human, Rebecca. Krypto, an affectionate 11-year-old Beagle mix, and Natasha, his equally spirited 8-year-old Doberman mix sister, have been Rebecca’s constant companions, filling her life with love, warmth, and laughter.

But in the past few months, both Krypto and Natasha have fallen seriously ill.

First, Natasha began vomiting blood and showing alarming symptoms. After urgent vet visits and extensive testing, she was diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis, an enlarged spleen, and arthritis in her hips. While initial fears pointed to something even worse (like tumors), the final diagnosis was still heartbreaking—and came with a hefty vet bill.

Just weeks later, Krypto started showing troubling symptoms of his own. The vet discovered he has a heart murmur and toxic plaque entering his bloodstream. He now needs urgent surgery, which comes with a significant risk due to his age. The procedure alone costs over $2,000, and Rebecca is already in debt from Natasha’s medical bills.

For Rebecca, Krypto and Natasha are more than pets—they are her heart. They provide her with unconditional love, companionship, and emotional support. Rebecca is a full-time higher-education worker, a cancer survivor, and a passionate advocate for women and children, fighting against child marriage in the U.S.—a cause deeply personal to her as a survivor herself.
