Hi everyone, It’s difficult to put this out there, but I’m asking for help for our dog, Krypto. Krypto is family. He’s our boy. He’s the sweetest, most loving little dog, and everyone he meets can’t help but fall in love with him. A few weeks ago, Krypto became very sick and was rushed to the vet, who confirmed it was severe pancreatitis. They did everything they could think to make him better, and we brought him home with high hopes. Unfortunately, he’s struggled to make progress and now we know why. He has developed a dangerous abscess that requires immediate surgery to correct. He’s been hospitalized, on fluids, medications, and even had a feeding tube inserted because his stomach isn’t processing food properly. He’s fighting, but he can’t improve the way we’d hoped, and surgery is now his best chance to survive. This has all happened so quickly, and the costs are overwhelming. Between emergency care, hospitalizations, and the surgery he now needs, we’ve paid tens of thousands in medical bills. We would do anything for Krypto, but we have to accept that we can’t do it alone.
