My fiancé, Kristy Wells, passed away Friday, April 11. We can't have the funeral until the whole amount is paid.Kristy was a graduate from the University of South Carolina and a long-time employee at Waffle House in the Newberry area. She enjoyed being outdoors and loved to plant and watch the growing flowers and vegetables in her garden. She could make anything from scratch when it came to cooking, especially her handmade pizzas. Kristy loved animals and rock music, which included her favorite bands: Pink Floyd, Metallica, The Beatles, and the Grateful Dead. She would enjoy her coffee every day, all day, as well as a Lucky Strike Menthol cigarette too. She had a knack for taking pictures and sharing photos with her family and friends. Some of her most memorable pictures were of the moon and stars. A few of her favorite TV shows included NCIS, CSI, Law & Order, Bones, and just about every murder mystery case series out there.
The most prized elements in Kristy's life were her children, her dogs, and her family. They brought so much enjoyment and warmth into her life.
Unfortunately, Kristy had bought life insurance last year to make sure when she passed it would not be a burden. After she passed, the insurance company called and advised us that since she didn't have the policy for 2 years, they would not pay anything but the $250 she had paid into it. So now we're faced with having to pay the $7,000 for the funeral. We really don't want to ask for help, but it is really needed at this very tough time.
