Help Kristy Save This Rescued Dog

Surgery went well! They were able to remove the obstruction. He should be able to go home by tomorrow morning. The vet says he is putting on weight and muscle well so this should help so there is no more inedible consumptions. We will be closing the go fund me if we can raise a little bit more to off set Kristy’s $4800 bill. Please share if you haven’t already!

Doug has had all his vaccines and was doing well. Tonight Kristy had to rush him to the emergency vet as he was quickly becoming sick. When Kristy found his he was so starving he was eating trash and clothes on the side of the road. The vet has indicated he has a bowel obstruction likely left over from that a few weeks ago. surgery will be expensive 4-6000 dollars. If anyone has anymore they can give so she doesn’t need to put him down it would be greatly appreciated.

Kristy found this guy on the side of the road in NC. She has been working to get him into a rescue and keep him out of a kill shelter. She finally found a rescue who is willing to help but this handsome little man will need to be neutered and up to date on shots before anyone can help. As you know she currently has 3 large dogs and 2 kids so she can’t keep watching him much longer. If you are willing to donate even just 5 dollars to offset these costs she can get him ready to go to a rescue and be adopted out.
