My name is Kristy, and I’ve always tried to be there for others, offering my time and support whenever I could. But now, I find myself in a place I never expected—completely overwhelmed and unable to keep going on my own. Ongoing health issues have made it impossible for me to work, and as much as I want to keep giving, my heart and body are simply exhausted.

Right now, I’m facing some of the hardest challenges of my life. I lost access to water just yesterday, and I haven’t had hot water for months. I don’t have a vehicle, which makes it nearly impossible to get to appointments or even take care of basic needs. On top of that, my dog—my loyal companion—needs medical care that I can’t afford. She means the world to me, and it’s heartbreaking not to be able to help her. The list of needs feels endless, and it’s hard to see a way forward on my own.
