My name is Kristy Springer i am an only child from Laura Springer (my mother). My mother currently is in ICU IN FL. A year and half ago I moved up to indiana with my 6 children.

My mother is currently in ICU and has been fighting the last 2 months with colon cancer, groain cancer and now known lung cancer. Her body went in to septic shock over the weekend. This has been a nightmare and still unreal to believe that my mother is so ill.

On Saturday 5/16/2026 she had surgery in her pelvic bone where she had such a bad infection that the doctors said the cancer is eating from inside out . She has been so strong until the moment. She was intubated is on medication for blood pressure for heart for kidney for pain and sedation.

My mom is such a wonderful lady she would give the shirt off her back if she had too. She would help any and everyone.

She worked over 30 years at local union 349. She was a dediacted worker and loved her boys in the union. She was spoken so highly of.

She has 6 grandkids that love her so dearly. She is the best yaiyai any kid can ask for.

She is and always will be the best mother on earth.

I come on here to ask for help in any and every where. I need to get myself and my 6 kids to miami to see her before it's to late. No one is ever ready for this ever and we have nothing to go on nor for any funeral arrangements.

I want to do everything to meet her wishes. This was the hardest thing to write so if I didn't express right im sorry. Im still in shock and dont know what to do. Any help would help us. Thank you and god bless.
