I am reaching out for help during one of the most difficult times in my life. My mother recently passed away unexpectedly, and her celebration of life was to be held on May 16th in Maryland Unfortunately, the day has moved to a later day in July. I am her only child, and what makes this even harder is that my mom was not sick and had no signs of being ill—her passing was so sudden and shocking.

I want nothing more than to be there to honor her memory and be with my family, but I am facing a long journey from Montana—about 1,900 miles away, which will take three days of driving. The costs of gas, food, and hotel stays for such a trip are more than I can manage right now. This loss was sudden, and I was not financially prepared for the travel expenses. On top of that, this trip will mean a long time away from home and employment, which adds to the financial strain. Being able to attend my mother's celebration of life means everything to me, and your support would help me make this journey to say goodbye and find some closure.
