Hi everyone, my name is Suzanne, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friend of over 20 years, Kristine Wallace.

Anyone who knows Kristine knows she is fiercely independent and incredibly private. She is the last person to ever ask for help, but she is always the first person to give it. When my mom passed away, I honestly don't know how my family and I would have navigated my father's care without her. She was our rock, and now it’s my turn to be hers.

For the last 15 months, Kristine has been dealing with persistent health issues that have kept her from working and put her in a tough financial spot. Just as she was trying to find her footing, a new, acute medical crisis emerged. She is currently facing hospitalization, surgery, and a long road of rehab.

In true Kristine fashion, she isn't looking for pity. Even from a hospital bed, she is searching for the silver lining and keeping her signature sense of humor intact (though she might tell you the hospital gown isn't exactly her best look!). She has remained thoughtful and kind through all the ordeals of uncertainty, fear, and pain. She is getting excellent medical care, and has been elected "favorite patient" on her floor by the staff.

She is a fighter, and her focus is entirely on getting back on her feet so she can get back to being the person we can lean on.

Because she hasn’t been able to work, the "eight ball" she’s behind has grown quite large. and I am raising funds to help with:

Medical Expenses, and offsetting the costs of surgery and specialized rehab. and ensuring her bills are covered so she can focus on healing, and not debt.
