Over the past two months, my close friend, Kristina has been caring for her father as his health suddenly and significantly declined. What started as occasional help quickly turned into becoming his main support system during a very difficult time.

While trying to keep up with work and everyday responsibilities, she has been managing two households—making sure her father's bills were paid, his home was cared for, and that he had everything he needed. Unfortunately, his sudden decline meant missing several days of work while trying to be there for him during his final days.

After his passing, Kristina is now facing unexpected funeral and travel expenses to honor his final wish of returning to his homeland, the Philippines. Between the emotional toll, missed work, and the financial strain of maintaining two households, this has been an incredibly overwhelming time.

I created this fundraiser to help ease some of the financial burden so Kristina and her family can focus on grieving and honoring her father. Any support, whether through a donation or simply sharing this fundraiser, would mean so much during this difficult time.
