Hi, I am Kristina Wagner! I am currently a college student trying to take care of a serious dental problem I cannot afford on my own. I never expected my situation to get this bad, but I am reaching out for help because my dental situation is now urgent.

I have been told by my endodontist and my dentist that I need six root canals, six crowns, deep cleaning and scaling, and multiple fillings. These aren't cosmetic procedures, they are necessary to save my teeth. I was told if I do not get these procedures soon, my teeth will become loose and fall out, being too late to save.

Even with insurance, the cost is far more than I can afford. My first estimate for my first three root canals will cost me $2,850, not including the crowns needed afterwards. These expenses are overwhelming for me, I already work two jobs while going to school full time, I have been living paycheck to paycheck since I have been in college. I have already looked into assistance programs, but unfortunately, I have not found any that offer co-pay assistance for emergency dental work. The financing I have already done only covers a small fraction of the total amount this will cost me.

This situation has affected almost every aspect of my life, including my studies, my work at my university in research, and my personal relationships. The discomfort and anxiety around my teeth have existed as long as I can remember. My teeth have progressively gotten worse throughout the years, and it is hard not to think about the long-term consequences of putting off treatment. I desperately do not want to loose my teeth.

Any donations will go directly toward covering the cost of my dental procedures, including root canals, crowns, or other treatments for my dental health. Goals: $5,100 will be used to cover the six root canals. $6,000 will be used to pay for crowns needed on those six root canals, and a few other teeth that need some crowns. Remaining funds will go towards fillings and dental scaling/deep cleaning, for my periodontal disease. If the donated funds exceed what is needed for these procedures, any additional money will be sent to other GoFundMe fundraisers for people's dental procedures, or donated to dental charities/advocacy or assistance groups. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps greatly.
