Kristina King VS Breast Cancer and Homeless Fire

My dear friend, Kristina King, was recently diagnosed with very aggressive, grade three breast cancer. Her Oncologist informed her that she will be required to begin treatment with 6-12 months of chemotherapy, followed by a full mastectomy, radiation and multiple reconstruction surgeries. For anyone, this alone would be a devastating. Shortly after receiving her cancer diagnosis, a fire broke out in her apartment. Kristina made it out of the fire with the clothes on her back, and her rescue dog, Elvis, under her arm. Kristina was treated for Shock and Carbon Monoxide Poisoning in the Emergency Room. That fire left Kristina homeless. This GoFundMe has been set up to pay for Kristina to have a safe, stable place for her to stay until she is able to find a new home. Without this help, it is a very distinct possibility that Kristina will be homeless, in winter. in Minnesota. during a pandemic. with a highly compromised immune system and untreated breast cancer. Kristina suffers from MSIDS, multiple tick born diseases, including Lyme, Bartonella, Babesia, and other related infections. Kristina went through over 7 years of daily IV antibiotics, via 8 different PICC lines running into her heart. As a result, Kristina’s immune system is highly compromised. To be out in public areas during a deadly PANDEMIC is extremely dangerous for her. While that is a terrifying thought, it is even an even more terrifying reality that her cancer will progress to a point that it will no longer be treatable.
