Help Kristina Keep Her Hair Through Chemo
We're rallying together for our dear friend Kristina—a brilliant photographer, a gentle soul, and one of the kindest, most creative people you could ever meet. Kristina was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and as she prepares to face a year of treatments, we’re stepping in to support her the way she’s supported so many of us through her lens and her love.
As an independent contractor, Kristina will be taking time off work during this incredibly difficult chapter. That alone is a huge financial burden. But on top of that, she's facing the physical and emotional toll of chemotherapy.
One of the side effects of chemo that many people fear is hair loss. For someone like Kristina—whose identity and confidence are deeply connected to her self-expression—this is especially hard. Thankfully, there’s an amazing option called cold capping that can help reduce hair loss during chemotherapy. It’s not covered by insurance, and it can be expensive—but it works, and it can make a world of difference.
We're raising funds to help Kristina afford cold capping throughout her treatment. Our goal is to ease just a bit of the burden and help her hold on to something that makes her feel like herself during a time when so much is changing.
Anything you can give—whether it’s $5 or just a share of this page—will go directly to supporting Kristina in this fight.
Let’s show up for her the way she’s shown up for us.
With love and gratitude,
Friends of Kristina
