Hi, my name is Theresa, and I’m creating this gofundme for my sister, Kristina.

Kristina has always been the kind of person who puts everyone else first. She’s also taken on the responsibility of caring for our two amazing nieces and has poured her heart and energy into making sure they are cared for and supported.

Unfortunately, this journey hasn’t come without challenges. The legal process this year to provide stability for the girls left Kristina with significant debt, even requiring her to pull from her retirement funds. She accepted that financial debt willingly, knowing it was the right thing to do. But no more than a month later, she started to experience excruciating back pain, only to find out that she needs immediate spine surgery due to a herniated disc affecting the nerves in her left leg.

Kristina currently works two jobs to make ends meet and support the girls. This surgery will require at least three months of recovery time, if not more, making it impossible for her to continue her bartending job, which is a critical second source of income for her.

Between the legal debt, loss of income, and upcoming medical bills, the financial strain on her has become overwhelming.

Kristina has a heart of gold and a spirit of resilience. No matter the challenges life brings, she puts others first. Now, she deserves the same kindness and support she’s shown to so many.
