I'm organizing this fundraiser for a dear friend of mine, Kristina Taylor Miller.

She recently lost her husband about a month ago after a car accident changed their lives forever in 2023.

She came home after work to find him passed away in his recliner.

Finding him the way she did after everything they had already endured is the kind of shock that can replay in your mind over and over and has truly left her devastated.

She has been carrying the weight of being a wife, his sole caregiver, a medical advocate, and the one holding the household together. That is so much for one person, and it has left her feeling overwhelmed, haunted, and exhausted.

This hasn’t been just a long, exhausting fight—it’s years of trauma, caregiving, grief, and physical and emotional strain all stacked on top of each other. The way she stayed by his side through ECMO, ventilators, surgeries, therapy, and constant hospital visits is an act of extraordinary love and endurance.

Now she is left to pick up the pieces of her life without him and figure out how to move forward, all while grieving the loss of her sweet husband.

She is emotionally spent and desperately needs our help! Any amount will help and is so appreciated!
