I want to thank every one of my generous and supportive friends, clients and even people I haven't met who donated to my fundraiser. Your donations have been paramount in my ability to move forward with expanding Splash and moving to a new location! Your funds have allowed me to hire and train new staff, and have also been used for down payments for equipment and the build out of the new space. I will still need to have a sign made, purchase more furniture and create an outdoor potty area. The cost of this venture is mind-blowing, and the timeline seems never-ending but I think I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Hi, my name is Kristin Finstad and I am asking for help with the expense of moving my business, Splash Canine Hydrotherapy and Recovery LLC to a new location. At Splash, I help dogs with many ailments and conditions to regain mobility, comfort and quality of life. I provide hydrotherapy services using an Underwater Treadmill and a warm water Therapy Pool. In the last five years I have worked with over 400 dogs and their people in the Washington and Oregon communities who have been referred by their veterinarians, their surgeons or self-referrals. These dogs and cats would include post-operative recovery, seniors with pain and arthritis or neuropathy, back injuries and paralysis, and an alternative to surgery.

The building I have been renting will be remodeled and repurposed, and the pool taken apart due to it's age and condition, and since the building was erected around the pool, unable to be moved. In researching the purchase of a new pool, I was shocked to see how the price has skyrocketed in the last 5 years! Since I have limited time to be out of my existing location, I find myself in the position to ask for your help.

The funds raised in this campaign will be used toward the purchase of a new pool and building out the new 3,000 sq ft space. It will also be used to pay for the relocation of the underwater treadmill which requires extensive electrical and plumbing improvements along with the transport itself.

I will also build out the new space to include treatment rooms, and look forward to offering added services like laser, acupuncture, chiropractic & massage. I hope to make the New Splash a wellness center that fills many needs all under one roof.
