Help Kristie's Family Heal After Husband's Passing
Donation protected
The other day, as I was coming home from work, I stopped at the neighborhood store, Daddyos. I went inside to get a can of snuff, and Kristie was working. I saw her ring and told her that it was pretty. She said thank you as she teared up. Then she told me that it came a few days after her husband had died about a month ago. I was speechless as I listened to her explain that the little one is starting to come to terms with the fact that Daddy wasn't coming home. All I could offer in the face of such grief was to tell her that I would pray for her family. I left the store feeling helpless to help this family that surely needed help.
I spoke with a few friends about what I could do to help this family. I prayed about it and decided to ask Kristie if she would mind if I set up a GoFundMe for her and her kids. With tears in her eyes, she wrote her name down for me. I didn't ask any details about the financial burdens that she has now as a single-income widow with kids. I barely know this woman, and it's not my business. I just wanted to be able to help her.
It has been about a month since her husband passed, and I didn't see an option for helping a grieving family, so I picked funeral and memorial. I'm sure that there are still people in this world that care when others suffer, please help me to help Kristie and her kids.
