Help Kristie Fight Stage 4 Breast Cancer

Donation protected
As many of you know my mom, Kristie, was diagnosed with breast cancer about a year and a half ago. We recently found out that it has progressed to stage 4 and metastasized to the bone in her right arm. The top portion of the bone is already eaten away. Without the use of her right arm she is now unable to work. She is needing to undergo aggressive treatments that insurance unfortunately will not cover.

My goal in creating this fund is to help her maintain a sustainable quality of life, ease her pain, and continue her life. So I am looking for your immediate help. We can't do this alone. Our hope is to raise money for her treatments, medical expenses, medications, vitamins, organic foods, and travel expenses which unfortunately, are quite expensive. We would like to do all that we can to alleviate the financial burden placed on her and our family.

The funds raised will be going to the treatment team at the Gonino Center For Healing in Rockwall, TX as well as her vitamins, medications, and organic food. Kristie will be needing to undergo two separate treatments. The first is an hour long treatment five days a week for 8 weeks. The second is a year long treatment that has an excellent success rate with a 69% chance of living past 5 years.

Kristie is the mother of three girls and a Nonnie to two grandchildren whom mean the world to her. Her husband of 25 years, Dennis, is her rock and her best friend. Kristie is known for being strong, compassionate, caring, and funny. Family means everything to her. It is not Kristie's nature to ask anyone for help, as she is constantly caring for others. She is a woman who is always supporting others and putting other peoples' needs above and before her own without a second thought. She has an amazing heart. In 2004 she was unexpectedly given the opportunity to adopt and raise two girls who were living a very difficult, abusive life. She accepted the opportunity without hesitation and loved them as her own.

On January 23, 2020 she lost her father to lung cancer. Only a few weeks later she found out that her cancer had spread and she is now stage 4. The loss of her father has been an emotional battle in itself. Despite these difficulties in her life she is looking to Christ through it all and knows that he is in control.

I invite you to contribute and support Kristie through any amount put on your heart. Please share this page on your social media to help Kristie during this crucial time. We believe in God and prayer and are asking for your deepest prayers. We are praying for God's healing and that Kristie goes on to live a long, happy and healthy life. Please feel free to comment as to how Kristie has been an inspiration or had an impact on you or your family.

Thank you for your love and support.

A message from her husband,

My blessing! God has blessed me with the love of my life, my best friend and my soul mate. He blessed me with my wife Kristie 31 years ago when she was 13 and I was 16. I was a young, dumb little boy who fell head over heels in love with this beautiful, sweet, compassionate young lady who literally blew my mind with how much someone could love someone else. Over the years she taught me so much about true love and compassion, about giving sacrificially to help others in need. She stood by me through everything life had to throw at us, through the good and the bad, the ups and the downs. Her strength has always amazed me. Through all that life threw at her, she endured by the strength of God in her life.

She is the most loving, compassionate, caring, giving, honest, and god-fearing person I know. We always say, “God is good, God is enough”, and He is! He blessed me with her so many years ago and now a VERY hard time has come in our lives, a time of sorrow, a time of fear, another storm, another test. But Jesus says in John 14:27,” Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”.

My love for her is deeper than any ocean, a love that is never ending and always forgiving, a love that is birthed from the grace of God. My heart beats every day for her, I wake every day to see her beautiful smile, to hear her sweet voice say, “good morning my love”. I pray that God gives us many more years together. She loves her kids and her grand babies more than life, and I really want them to grow up seeing her and feeling all the love she has to give.
