Hi, my name is Deanna, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my best friend, Kristie-Dawn, and her son, Nathaniel.

On October 2nd, 2025, their lives changed in an instant when they were involved in a severe car accident. Kristie suffered life-changing injuries — multiple spinal fractures, a broken hand and thumb, partial finger amputations, and a complete jaw reconstruction. She’s been through unimaginable pain and has a long road of healing and recovery ahead.

I’ve known Kristie for many years, and anyone who knows her will tell you she’s one of the kindest, most giving souls there is. She’s the first person to show up when someone needs help — whether it’s a ride, a meal, or a listening ear. Now she’s the one who needs that same love and support from all of us.

The funds raised here will go toward helping Kristie and Nathaniel manage the many costs that come with recovery — medical care, rehabilitation, travel, and day-to-day living expenses while she’s unable to work. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a real difference and helps lift some of the weight off their shoulders during this difficult time.
