Matthew 25:40 - "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me"
My name is David from Siler City, and I’m raising funds for a truly special couple, Kristian and Greg.
I first met them outside a local restaurant in Siler City. They were sitting quietly with a simple sign that read, “Anything helps.” I offered to buy them some food and they were so thankful. What started as a brief encounter has turned into a meaningful friendship between our families.
Over time, Kristian and Greg have joined us at church at Moons Chapel Baptist Church in Siler City, shared meals with us, and become people we and our children deeply care about. They are followers of Jesus Christ, kind-hearted, and doing their best to survive incredibly difficult circumstances.
They have been experiencing homelessness for more than five years and are currently living in a tent near where we first met them. The daily struggle of not having stable shelter, reliable transportation, or even a permanent address has made it extremely difficult for them to move forward. Simple things many of us take for granted — consistent food, clean water, and access to necessary medications — are ongoing challenges for them.
They also have a beautiful 11-year-old daughter who is currently living with a family member. Their greatest desire is to become stable enough to provide a home where she can return and be reunited with them.
Our family has helped as much as we can, but the needs are greater than what we can provide alone. We are asking our community to come alongside Kristian and Greg during this critical season.
Funds raised will go toward:
Safe and stable housing
Food and clean water
Necessary medications and healthcare needs
Transportation assistance
Steps toward long-term stability and employment
If you feel led, please consider donating. No amount is too small, even $5 or $10 means a warm meal or heat for the night. If you’re unable to give financially, sharing this fundraiser and praying for this family would mean so much.
Thank you for helping us show love, dignity, and hope to a family working hard to rebuild their lives. These wonderful people are our friends and we are trying to do everything we can to give them a second chance
