Help Kristi and Max Save Miracle Cat Henry

My name is Kristi, single mom to a son. Max, who loves his cats. One of his cats, Henry, he's been through it. It is a harrowing story.

In September of 2021, we sold our house in Georgia and moved back to Cali with our 4 cats. However, during an extended stay in Texas, Henry got spooked and ran off. We searched for him daily, until we had to get back on the road. We left without him.

We never gave up hope of finding him. I checked pawboost and local missing pet facebook pages weekly.

In April of 2023, I found a pawboost post of a cat that looked like Henry. I reached out to the poster, Lori Hillerby. The cat she posted had been living on her property and had seen it around. She said she would gather her grandkids and locate the cat.

She did just that! They quickly found the cat and sent me video. She clearly asked him if he was Henry and he sincerely replied with "Me-yeah!"

I still was not sure it was him. He looked so different. I did not want to get my hopes up, and asked Lori to take him to get his chip scanned.

She again jumped into action and took the cat to the shelter to get scanned. She called me right away with the news.

"IT IS HENRY!!!"

I sobbed uncontrollably and could not speak. WE never thought in a million years we would see him again.

That weekend, we traveled to New Mexico to meet my uncle and to pick up our boy, Henry. He is our miracle cat.

Fast forward to now... He prefers being outside and it is difficult to keep him indoors, especially at night. When i opened the door this morning, Henry was lying on the ground. When i picked him up, he screamed and i saw two of his legs going the wrong way. So far, it looks like he has two broken legs.

We just got him back and we are not ready to lose our miracle cat. Please help if you can. If not, please share.
