After losing Mama Sue in September, my world changed completely. Not only did I lose someone I loved deeply, but I was also diagnosed with a severe spinal disease that affects my entire body and has no cure. My medical team is doing everything they can to help me manage my mobility and pain, but the process is slow and challenging. I am currently going through the disability process with Social Security, but as many know, that takes time. I work part-time, but it doesn't come close to covering my basic needs. Since Mama Sue passed, she left me a small mobile home. Unfortunately, I don't meet the requirements to stay living here, so I have to sell it. The home needs several repairs, and I simply don't have the funds to cover them.

The funds raised will go toward medical expenses, overdue utility and cell phone bills, daily living costs for myself and my two dogs, and the necessary repairs to the mobile home. These repairs include painting, fixing the outdoor unit, dump runs, hiring help, and addressing a plumbing issue in the shower. I also need to transfer the car I use for medical appointments into my name and will have to make trips to OHSU for treatment.
