Help Kristi get to Carnegie Hall

We've gotten our itinerary for the weekend and it seems like a dream. I can't believe I'm this close to going to Carnegie Hall. We have rehearsals Saturday, Sunday and Monday before the concert. Our evenings on Friday, Saturday and Sunday are free to explore the city. The hotel is right in the thick of the city and only blocks from everything. Never in my life did I ever think I'd even be thinking of things like this. Not this small town girl from Elk Grove.

I have one final payment due of almost $1400 for hotel, airfare and shuttle to and from the airport. I am so close!

Dear Friends and Family,

I am excited about an upcoming choir tour that I have the opportunity to participate in with the Fremont Presbyterian Sanctuary Choir of Sacramento . We will be singing the Mass of the Children by John Rutter at Carnegie Hall in New York City next Memorial Day, May 27, 2024! We have the privilege of singing under the baton of Sir John Rutter, a well-known British conductor and composer of incredible anthems and choral works. This is a once-in-lifetime opportunity for the me as well as the choir.

We will fly out on Friday, May 24 and have rehearsals for three days and then the concert on Monday evening. We will also be able to attend a worship service in Manhattan. In addition to the cost of the flight and Carnegie Hall expenses, we have hotel stays and meals to cover. I am humbly requesting your support in achieving my goal of raising $2,200 to help offset my costs. Any amount that you can donate would be so appreciated.

If you are interested in hearing our choir sing, I invite you to come to any Sunday morning service at 9:00 am or consider attending our wonderful FREE Christmas concerts on the evenings of Dec. 8, 9, and 10, 2023 at 7pm each evening.
