Help Kristen's Family Finish Their Home

Hi, my name is Kristen Martin-Bruce. For three years I have fought relentlessly with FEMA, SBA and even our state and federal senators for help in restoring my home after it was gutted because of storm damage and mold from Hurricane Ida. SBA has given us the maximum amount of money allowed for Hurricane Ida. However, due to rising costs with inflation, and having to spend major $$ on all new air conditioning ductwork, plumbing, electrical, and mold mitigation, and a new roof, etc., so much money was invested before Sheetrock could even go up. Now we are close to the finish line. We need paint, fixtures, faucets, flooring, door knobs, blinds, etc. to finish our home so that we can move in! We are lacking about $40,000 to finish and we are out of funds. Our state camper won’t be available to us much longer, and we don’t want to be left homeless. My disabled parents, husband, two daughters, and four dogs have struggled emotionally for nearly three years living in this little camper and we just want to be in our home!
