Kristen and Mike were on their motorcycle with two other friends on their way Lake Whitney to raise money for Faith Mission Homeless Shelter in Wichita Falls, Texas. Kristen and Mike are a part of the Survivor Motorcycle Club in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Kristen was born in Wichita Falls, Texas in 1979 and has been a waitress at Pioneer Restaurant on Maplewood in Wichita Falls for more than 7 years. She had just completed her certification as a nursing assistant and had enrolled in Nursing school to become an RN. She married Mike Briggs who has worked in waste management in Petrolia, Texas for more than 3 years. They married on July 17, 2015.

Kristen is currently in ICU, getting excellent care. She arrived with several broken bones, head injury and paralysis from the belly button down.
The waiting room has been full as people arrive to provide her family from Wichita Falls (husband- Mike Briggs, mom #1-Kathy Adams & John Schenk, sister- Karie Foster, brother- Weston Adams) and her additional family from Kansas City MO mom#2-Mikki & Steve Mills, brother- Joshua Hance.
Tragically, Kristen lost her younger sister Lauren Hance (24 yrs old) in 2011 in a motorcycle accident.
We are asking for financial assistance to get Mike and Kristen through this tragic event. It will be months before Kristen will get through her injuries and participate in rehabilitation to be able to return to her normal activities.
