Help Support Kristen During a Medical Emergency

My name is Kimberly, and I am reaching out during one of the most difficult moments our family has ever faced. My daughter, Kristen, unexpectedly became critically ill and is currently suffering from both kidney and liver failure. She is now undergoing intensive medical care and has been placed on the transplant list for a new liver.

This has turned our world upside down. Right now, my only focus is being by Kristen’s side—supporting her, advocating for her, and helping her through this frightening and uncertain journey.

Unfortunately, this situation has also created an overwhelming financial strain. I recently started a new job just a couple of months ago and do not yet have any paid time off or qualify for FMLA. Being away from work to stay with my daughter means lost income, while expenses continue to grow.

Funds raised will help cover:

    •    Travel, lodging, and meals while I remain close to her care team

    •    Basic living expenses while I am unable to work consistently

    •    Any unforeseen costs during the transplant process and recovery
