Hello!! I hate doing this + I have been taking care of these payments on my own, but I've hit a point where I need help.

Between the trauma of the attack and having an authority figure tell me that sharing this information could have me kicked out of BYU for breaking the honor code, I decided to keep it to myself. I attended BYU again later in 2014 for a semester and was unable to complete the semester due to various things including: anxiety and bouts of depression. I withdrew from my classes which consequently meant that I lost my scholarship. Being a young naive girl I moved on with my life just thinking that I was a BYU drop out and that was that.
This last spring I was delivered a notice from a lawyer stating that I owed BYU the amount of $4,000 for tuition from the semester I withdrew, plus lawyer fees and interest. I made a deal where I could pay $500 a month to meet that amount, since I didn't have $4,000 in my savings. I've been scraping the bottom of the barrel and have been meeting all the deadlines, but I have officially hit a point where I need help. I have $2,000 left until I am all paid off, and I will officially be free from BYU. For the last few months I have been daydreaming of the day I won't have to sign a $500 check to BYU for a semester of mental/emotional hell and trauma.

Any money I receive from this would go straight to the firm to pay off this debt. I would be so grateful for any help, including prayers and well wishes. I love the internet and all of you!
