Hello everyone,

As many of you know, our friend Kristen experienced a traumatic car accident earlier this year; march 19th that left her with mini-strokes, a vertebral artery dissection, an allergic reaction to blood transfusions, and days of medical intubation. Despite her remarkable resilience and strength, Kristen continues to face significant challenges.

Kristen is known for her kindness, optimism, and unwavering support for those she cares about. Before the accident, she was juggling two jobs, staying active, and working towards moving into her own place. The accident has not only disrupted her personal goals and independence but also imposed a severe financial burden on her, as she is entirely self-reliant.

Although she may appear to be back to normal, Kristen is far from her pre-accident self. She now deals with permanent blindness, brain fog, and other ongoing symptoms that make everyday tasks and working as a server much more difficult. To make matters worse, the restaurant where she works will be closing at the end of September.

We are reaching out to our community to support Kristen in regaining her independence and addressing her financial and medical challenges. Any contribution, no matter the size, will be deeply appreciated. Please share this message within your networks to help Kristen get back on her feet.
