Help Kristen get back on her feet in NJ!

Hi all! I am reaching out to ask for help for our dear friend Kristen who is going through a tough time financially and emotionally. Kristen has always been genuinely compassionate and generous to so many of her friends and family, so let’s help her get back on her feet in NJ.

Due to a family situation, Kristen has been to splitting her time between NJ and FL for the past year. Because of reasons she would like to keep private, Kristen has decided it would be best for her and her children (ages almost 3 & 8 months) move to NJ, close to her support system including loving family and friends.

It has been a challenging year where she has traveled back and forth between states weekly. While she loves her freelance job as a photographer and has had a very successful business in the past, it’s been very hard for her to work and earn like she used to under current circumstances. She is hoping to book many photography jobs now that she’s back in NJ. Between being her daughter’s primary caretaker in FL with minimal support and job inquiries primarily in NJ, accepting photography jobs has been challenging. She is working to get back on her feet, work hard, and give her children the best life she can.

She is literally starting over and doesn’t have much furniture other than what is currently still in FL. When splitting time between FL & NJ over the past year Kristen and the kids would live at her mom’s when in NJ. All of her and her children’s belongings were sent via packrat to her FL residence.

Due to current financial stressors, she is barely getting by and cannot afford long distance movers that are quoting her over $3k to move their belongings back to NJ. Their possessions are in a storage unit in Florida.

She is needing help to move back sentimental and practical belongings including furniture, children’s toys (including her son’s beloved jeep pictured) and clothing, pet gear, outdoor toys and gear, as well as decor including art and holiday items.

As Kristen has done for us so many times, let’s rally behind her with compassion and support to get her going in NJ again. Thank you all for your help for our sweet friend Kristen!!
