Help Krista Get a Wheelchair Van & Equipment

Krista Lezo-Gonzalez is a young woman from Corona, California, who was born with cerebral palsy. She lives with her loving family—her mom, dad, and two younger siblings. Krista is an active member of her community, attending Crossroads Church every Sunday and participating in the special-needs ministry. She loves spending time with her family and friends, and her days are filled with activities at local day groups that bring her joy and connection.


Recently, Krista and her family experienced a life-changing setback. While her dad was driving their accessible van, a sudden stop by the car in front led to a severe accident. Although insurance covered the other vehicle’s damages, Krista’s family is now left with a significant financial burden and no way to transport her. The van and Krista’s wheelchair were both badly damaged, leaving her mom without a way to get Krista to her daily routines and essential appointments.


Krista’s family urgently needs help to purchase a new van equipped for her wheelchair and to replace her damaged equipment. This support will restore Krista’s independence and allow her to rejoin her community, attend church, and participate in the activities she loves.
