Help Krista Cover Medical Expenses

For those of you who know me, you know that asking for help is nearly impossible for me. But, here I am, asking for help....
In summer of this year (2020), I started having "female problems". I ignored it for a few months, assuming that it was the normal process of getting older and starting peri-menopause. My symptoms fit the description of perimenopause so I tried not to worry. But, by the time September rolled around, my symptoms were horrific, and I was scared enough to make a doctor's appointment. (My regular doc was on maternity leave, so I was trying to hold off on scheduling an appointment with an unknown doctor.) In early October, I met with Dr. Wenzel at Gundersen Healthcare who listened to my concerns, noted my symptoms and took me serious. He immediately did a biopsy and sent me off to have an ultrasound.
Then I waited....I kept telling myself everything was fine. But then Dr. Wenzel called and gave me news I wasn't expecting....cancer.
THE GOOD NEWS: I have low-grade uterine cancer. After more bloodwork and an MRI, the tumor appears small and has not spread to other parts of my body.
THE BAD NEWS: Even good news comes at a price. Even though I am lucky enough to have insurance, my portion of the medical costs for the MRI, surgery, consultations, biopsy, bloodwork, etc., has surpassed my financial ability. I am a single income household, and due to COVID, I have not worked any box office overtime at the theatre for the last eight months since we can't produce any shows. This has resulted in a major cut in my income and now I'm facing numerous medical bills.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
1. Donate. If you can spare anything, I would appreciate it. You can either donate through GoFundMe or send it to me directly at the address below.
2. Share. I know times are tough for everyone right now, so if you can't donate, please consider sharing my information with your friends, family, theatre alumni and patrons, etc.
3. Send me a note/card/letter to the address below. I will be recovering at home alone for up to 6 weeks during December/January. I'd love to hear from you to help pass the time and lessen the boredom/loneliness.

Thank you so much! I am truly blessed to have so many great people in my life who have already reached out and offered their support. My sisters have been my rock, and I look forward to being healthy and cancer-free in 2021.
